This is what Lord Buddha said to Lord Ananda, and I read it on my birthday. It seems like Lord Buddha said it to me, and from now on I will run my life based on this message.

Attasarana,
Annasarana,
Dhammadipa
Dhammasarananca.
Jadilah pelita bagi dirimu sendiri,
Jadilah pelindung bagi dirimu sendiri,
Janganlah menyandarkan nasibmu pada makhluk lain,
Peganglah teguh Dhamma sebagai pelita,
Peganglah teguh Dhamma sebagai pelindungmu.
Be the light upon yourself,
Be the protector upon yourself,
Do not lie your destiny on other creatures,
Hold your belief in Dhamma as the light,
Hold your belief in Dhamma as the protector
